KIT-Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute of Technology established in 2008 by Vijayalakshmi Palanisamy Charitable Trust, strives to make a mark in the field of engineering and technology globally. KIT-Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute of Technology, one of the best Engineering Colleges in Coimbatore, KIT with its magnificent ambience, modern high-tech facilities, and universal recognition has been accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade & NBA.

Challenge:

Being one of the top engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, KIT wanted to ensure the optimum student engagement in their scholarship test program. The existing technology was unable to effectively handle the call inundation.
It was undetermined towards the required capability and feature as per managing the huge count of students. Every detail was forwarded to the students manually and it was difficult for the faculties and supervisors to manage the data and the calls and registrations from students.
Also, when the call back got delayed the students were missing an opportunity to participate in the scholarship test program. There was an urgent requirement of the best- unified solution that could make the entire process automated.

Solution:

To support its technology-focused strategy, KIT needed a robust technology that would help them connect the students directly for the scholarship test program, KIT identified OneRing.
OneRing Team mapped out process incitement, and provided the solution, which made the client capability future-ready; the entire solution was implemented on a single set up making it really easy to manage.
On dialing the virtual number, the call with getting disconnected after onering. The student will get an auto-reply SMS with the registration link, the solution provided real-time information.
A GUI based customized reporting was provided so that faculties and the supervisors could access relevant information. OneRing was able to produce some of the very key insights to KIT with help of its detailed reporting capabilities like caller number, date and time, operator, geographic location, etc.
Through the OneRing students, a scholarship test program was made easy and relevant for the registration.

Result:

The advantage of the facility is that there is no charge for the calls and the interested students will receive the information immediately after the missed call.
